Police Scamper for Safety in Emali as residents throw stones to demonstrate resident’s Murder- In Emali town, Makueni county, police have had a difficult time keeping anti-government protesters under control.

Trouble started when protesters claimed that the police had shot and killed one protester. The enraged citizens accused the security agencies of employing excessive force and set a police car on fire. The majority of the day was spent in a bloody brawl between the police and protesters. The anti-riot police officers were forced to flee for their lives when the demonstrators eventually overpowered them.
The protesters chased after the cops while hurling stones, so the cops turned on their heels.
