The US Coast Guard made a startling revelation during a deep dive to the Titanic site: suspected human remains inside the Titan submersible wreckage, which collapsed during the mission. Fragments were retrieved and unloaded on Wednesday for analysis by medical experts.

Titan, a 23,000-pound spacecraft by Ocean Gate Expeditions, allowed five people to explore the Titanic’s wreckage for $250,000 per person. The crew worked tirelessly during the ten-day mission, aiming to see their loved ones soon.

Also,Pelagic Research Services refrained from commenting to respect the Coast Guard’s privacy. A news conference is planned in East Aurora, New York, once the team reunites. The Canadian Transportation Safety Board will reveal more information about its investigation later.

A Marine Board of Investigation is actively collecting information and conducting interviews to understand the tragedy’s cause and prevent future incidents. Captain Jason Neubauer stressed the need for extensive work in a public hearing.
