The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship offers two full scholarships for Pacific countries, providing the opportunity to study in either New Zealand or a Pacific University. Eligible nations encompass Vanuatu, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Samoa, Niue, Fiji, and Micronesia.

Asian Countries

The eligible countries for the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship are as follows:Malaysia,Mongolia,Nepal,Philippines,Thailand,Timor-leste,Sri lanka,Indonesia,Bangladesh,Maldives,Jordan,Pakistan,Lao PDR and Vietnam

Options of study for Asian Countries

The levels of study that are available are as follows:PHD option,Master’s Degree ,Post graduate Certificate,Post graduate Diploma and also Short term Training Scholarships.

African Countries for Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship

Also,the eligible African countries are:Kenya,Lesotho,Mauritius,Morrocco,Mozambique.Malawi Djiboutiand Nigeria.In addition,Ghana, Namibia and senegal.The level of study is similar to the Asian and Pacific countiries.

Caribbean countries and Latin America Countries.

Four Types of New Zealand Scholarships

some of the countries for the above countries are:Belize,Haiti,Jamaica and St Vincent.For latin America countries are:Argentina,Costa Rica ,Mexico and El Salvador among others.The levels of study are similar to the other countries above.

Short Term Scholarships for Pacific and Timor -Leste Citizens.

The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship offers Scholarship to working class from Pacific Citizens.The professionals learn new skills in New Zealand.One will later go back home to share the skills.The candidates take 12 months.You must meet the academic requirements and have work experience.The successful candidates will get full tuition fees,a weekly allowance to cover living costs and training related costs.

International Tertiary Students.

This Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship offers international tertiary scholarship.The scholarship is also available for African countries,Caribbean countries,Asian countries and Latin America Countries.

Eligibilty Criteria

You should fill the given questionnaire to establish that you are eligible.The test is available on the New Zealand Website.The age requirement is 17 years -40 years of age.You will apply as a student Visa om immigration website in your country.The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship will reimburse you for your Visa and medical costs.

English Language and Training for Officials Scholarships.

In addition to the other scholarships,the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship offers English Language training to government officials from eligible African and Asian countries.The course takes up to five months to help improve their English.The New Zealand Embassy instructs the Embassy in eligible countries to nominate candidates.
